Map.NewMapShapeFile GpsTools v2.30 and later

Creates a new MapShapeFile. The MapShapeFile is inserted in the active layer or the layer that is specified at its creation. If the layer specified doesn't exist, it is created. A MapShapeFile object is used to draw an entire ShapeFile at once on a map. You need to call Map.Update to make changes made to the object visible on the map.

To delete the MapShapeFile use Map.Delete.
To use multiple layers see Map.ActiveLayer.
