Franson GpsGate can be used to share one GPS connected to a Pocket PC or laptop to
other computers connected to the same LAN. This can be useful if you have several computers in
the same vehicle.
On each computer running GpsGate you can in turn connect any number of
GPS applications to GpsGate, everything running at the same time.

Step by step instructions to set up GpsGate in a network configuration:
On the computer to which the GPS is connected (server):
1. Select the GPS as input. More info here
2. Open the settings dialog.
3. Select "TCP/IP" in the Output dropdown.
4. Select port "20175" under the button "Add TCP port".
5. Click "Add TCP port".
6. Close settings dialog. Finished!
On each other computer accessing the GPS over the network (client):
1. Open the settings menu. More info here
2. Select "TCP/IP" as Input.
3. Write the name or IP address of the server to which the GPS is connected.
4. Select port "20175".
5. Click "Open".
6. Create virtual ports to connect your GPS applications to. More info here
7. Close settings dialog. Finished!
