Sample 1 - FindAndConnect
Find a BlueTooth device and connect to one of its services.
Sample 2 - SimpleService
Create a simple service for other devices to connect to.
Sample 3 - ObexFTPClient
Transfer files over Bluetooth using OBEX FTP.
Sample 4 - ObexPushClient
Push files over Bluetooth using OBEX Push.
Sample 5 - SMS Manager
Send, receive and delete SMS on a mobile phone over Bluetooth.
A License key
is necessary to use BlueTools. During development the key found here
can be used. To distribute the component as part of your application you need to purchase
Steps to set up project
You always need to make a reference to Franson.BlueTools.dll (.NET 1.1) or Franson.BlueTools.200.dll (.NET 2.0) .
1. Open a sample project.
2. Right click on "References" and select "Add reference..."
A dialog opens:
3. Click "Browse..."
4. Go up two directories.
5. Select the DLLs you need to reference.
Franson.BlueTools.dll (.NET 1.1) or Franson.BlueTools.200.dll (.NET 2.0)
Select all if you feel unsure. You can remove them later
when you understand which you do need, and which you don't need. Then click open.
6. Click "OK" in the "Add reference" dialog".
7. Find the row which says License.LicenseKey = "...", replace that key with the one you requested from us.
